Three injured in accident in Houthulst

The accident happened around 6 a.m. In a bend, a passenger car collided with a van. After the collision, the latter ended up against a tree and landed on its side. The two occupants suffered minor injuries. The driver of the car was trapped and had to be freed from his vehicle. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The collision therefore happened in a bend, one of the two vehicles must have deviated from its lane.
