Three hundred people involved in brawl in RAI on last day of Turkish elections

About three hundred people were involved in a “mass brawl” on Sunday evening at the RAI convention center in Amsterdam, where Turkish citizens could vote in Turkish elections. That reports the police Monday. No people have been arrested so far. Two people have been injured.

The brawl broke out around 9 p.m., when the polls were closed. The police came to the location with a large number of officers and found a “chaotic situation”. The police say they are still investigating the cause of the disturbances and what criminal offenses were committed.

Sunday was the last day to vote in Turkey’s presidential and parliamentary elections. Elections in the country are on May 14, but Turkish citizens living abroad were allowed to vote earlier.
