State of emergency in the shopping center in Schöneweide on the Adlergestell: a man had threatened to explode with a bomb. The building was completely evacuated. Shortly before 2 p.m., customers were able to return to the business premises.

This was preceded by a dispute between the obviously confused customer and the security staff. The man had previously yelled and rioted loudly around 11 a.m.

The police units that arrived first overpowered the man and arrested him. According to BZ information, he pointed grimly at his luggage and said that there was a bomb in it. While the arrested person was being driven to the interrogation, a large contingent of the police evacuated the building and the associated parking garage – at 1.15 p.m. the object was deserted.

According to a police spokeswoman, specialists from the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) came and x-rayed the bag. Finally, the experts were able to give the all-clear – customers were able to return to the shops and their vehicles.

In the vicinity of the center, there were significant traffic disruptions during the police operation.
