American NFL fan Jordan Willis has come under suspicion in a truly puzzling death case, New York Post news.
Willis’ three friends came over to watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers game in early January. The evening of the match ended in a tragic way.
Willis’ friends were found frozen and dead in the backyard of the house two days later. It was about 10 degrees below zero outside at that time.
The man himself says that he has no idea what happened to his friends.
The relatives of the dead were furious with Willis and wrote on Facebook their own view of the events.
– He knew that people were looking for them. He read the messages that said so, one of those close to him wrote.
– My husband knocked on her door for 20 minutes. My friend broke the glass and yelled at him. Even then he was nowhere to be seen. The cops came 10 minutes later, and that’s when he stomped out like the other guys with boxers on and an empty wine glass in hand. Nothing matches, he continued, demanding justice for the dead.
Slept on the couch
Willis’ attorney John Picerno said his client slept with headphones next to a loud fan.
According to the lawyer, Willis’ last memory was that his friends had gone out the door, and then he himself had slept on the sofa for two days.
– It was really cold. They could go outside to gasp for oxygen or smoke. Or maybe the toilet was occupied, Picerno speculate.
– They were his friends and always hung out with him. If he could have helped them, he would have.
The lawyer did not rule out the possibility that the men had used drugs and suffered an overdose.
– Everything is possible, he said.
The parents of one of the victims even suspect that Willis, who works as a scientist, drugged his friends on purpose, dragged them out, waited two days and then called the police.
Fox News according to the parents did not understand how three grown men could just go to the backyard of the house and freeze to death.
According to the police, the case is not being investigated as a homicide.
