Telekom will broadcast the benefit concert “Three chords for your donation” on February 24 as a live stream. The Toten Hosen, Thees Uhlmann and Die Donots perform at the sold-out show in Düsseldorf to support the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
The performance can be seen from 8.15 p.m. on MagentaMusik, MagantaTV, Telekom’s social media channels and on #dabeiTV. Viewers can donate during the broadcast. As part of the campaign, Toten Hosen are offering a solidarity shirt in their online shop – the proceeds go to the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and Medico International. The organizations also benefit from all proceeds from the benefit event.
Turkey and Syria were hit by severe earthquakes in early February. So far, more than 48,000 deaths have been reported and 1.5 million people have lost their homes. Aftershocks and cold weather are hampering ongoing relief efforts.
