Three apartments of a care institution in Meppel were so damaged last night by a fire that the residents cannot return to them.
It is a Cosis care center where elderly people with a physical disorder or early dementia live.
Last night there was a raging fire, which probably started in an apartment and then spread. The residents of adjacent apartments were evacuated during the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. There were no injuries during the fire.
