Threatened with a gun while drunk? Investigations against two Berlin police officers

The Berlin police have been investigating in their own ranks since last night. Two police officers are said to have insulted two young men (20 and 23 years old) and threatened them with a gun. To make matters worse, the two officers are said to have been drunk!

The two 20- and 23-year-olds had reported them to a police section. They told the police that the two officers were traveling in an unmarked vehicle when they apparently decided to stop the two men.

They were first insulted by the officials, who are said to have acted drunk. Then the police officers checked them at gunpoint, the police said on Saturday.

The Berlin police were able to identify the two accused civilian officers that night. The two men did not want to comment on the allegations, but they still had to go to the breath alcohol test. And that confirmed the suspicions of the young men. Both officers were drunk.

They had to give up their service weapons. Both police officers are now being investigated on suspicion of threatening them with weapons and insulting them.

When asked, the police did not want to say where the check took place, what the background was and where the two police officers work. Nothing was initially said about the nature of the insult.
