In Charlottenburg, a neighborhood dispute between two men escalated on Sunday evening and ended in a scuffle over a gun.
According to the police, a 58-year-old got into an argument with his 50-year-old neighbor around 6:30 p.m. on Richard-Wagner-Strasse, during which he threatened his opponent with a pistol.
He is said to have tried to get hold of the weapon and grabbed his opponent’s forearm. This fired a shot from the gun.
Because the gun was pointed several times in the direction of the police officers who had been called in the meantime, they threatened to use a firearm. But the two brawlers did not let go of each other!
“In a tactically clever moment, the officers finally succeeded in separating the men and confiscating the PTB weapon,” the police said. The investigations are ongoing.
