Iltalehti’s photographer gets confused on location at the Olympic Stadium in Munich. The cameraman sitting next to me looks like an Olympic champion From Thomas Röhler. From a man who had competed in the javelin qualifying a few hours earlier.
The matter is confirmed when the wind flips the accreditation passport hanging around the neck of a polite person. The man really is a Rio Olympic champion.

– Yes, filming has always been my passion, says the man operating the new cameras.
The star, who is enthusiastic about photography, says that producing pictures and videos is related to his future project.
– My friend and I are developing a service that we could use to help athletes with their personal marketing. I believe that photography and video will be increasingly connected to sports marketing in the future.
The man says that, for example, there would be a lot to improve in the marketing of German athletes.
– In the future, athletes will need even more photos and videos of themselves, Röhler announces and refers to the athletes’ own social media channels.
As the pitcher prepares for his performance, Röhler points his camera towards the cage with a smile on his face.
