Our representative Samsunspor, UEFA Conference League in the first match away from the Polish team Legia Warsaw with a score of 1-0 defeated. After the match, Samsunspor’da coach Thomas Reis attracted attention.

It was a historic night on our behalf. The first win we have received in Europe. I am proud of my team. It was definitely a difficult match. Our performance in the first half was not good, but we found the goal. In the second half, we had difficulty holding the ball. We lost our offensive power. We are happy for the win. We are proud to win the first points to Samsunspor.
Obviously it is best not to talk about goals. I don’t want to talk about goals in Europe. The game we played was not our best performance. We were forced. We can show much better. The lessons we can take from such challenging matches will be the topics we need to develop. We won the first in Europe, we will play more matches. First of all, our feet have to step on the ground. There is an important league match ahead of us on Sunday. Then there is a national break and then my disabled players will return. I am proud of all my players.
