Thomas Müller predicts the Champions League final

With FC Bayern, Thomas Müller was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Now the national player sees Liverpool in the final of the Champions League against Real Madrid as a slight favorite.

“I say 2-2 – and Liverpool wins on penalties,” said the Bayern professional on Thursday at the German national soccer team’s training camp in Marbella.

Liverpool can win the handle pot on Saturday (9:00 p.m.) in St. Denis for the second time under team manager Jürgen Klopp and for the seventh time in total.

“From the feeling I have the impression that Liverpool is actually better. But if you see what Real has done in the league and especially in the Champions League, I wouldn’t write them off,” said Müller.

He does not yet know whether he will turn on the television on Saturday. “I’ve had enough time to process it all, but I don’t have an extremely negative feeling when I see great football. It’s our own fault for not taking the chance to play there,” he said.
