Duchess Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, is avoiding the news documentary about his daughter and her husband, Prince Harry, the news site TMZ reveals.
Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Markle tells TMZ that she doesn’t want their father to see Harry & Meghan horror documentary. She hopes that Thomas would focus more on treating his own health condition than on Meghan’s documentary. Samantha describes Harry and Meghan’s documentary as “disrespectful”.
According to Samantha, Thomas doesn’t know what’s going on in the documentary, but he doesn’t need to know. Samantha says that she is particularly afraid that Thomas’s health would deteriorate if he watched clips of royal life from the documentary. Thomas suffered a stroke in May, but survived.

The documentary also discusses the relationship between Meghan and Thomas. Harry and Meghan share their own view of the events and the relationship between father and daughter. Harry states in the documentary that it is “extremely sad” that his wife has lost her father.
Samantha tells TMZ that the breakup was entirely Meghan’s decision. For example, the daughters’ father did not take part in Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.
