Thomas Gottschalk is hoping for Justin Timberlake in the last “Wetten, dass ..?” edition

On November 26th, Thomas Gottschalk will finally say goodbye as presenter of “Wetten,dass..?” on ZDF after a total of 36 years. The 73-year-old, who announced his departure weeks ago, is planning a spectacle for his final broadcast from Offenburg and wants prominent guests at his side.

Is Justin Timberlake taking part in the show for the fifth time?

The focus of the last show is particularly on the possible participation of Justin Timberlake, whom Gottschalk says he would like to have there. The presenter indicated via his Instagram story that he would like to get Timberlake on the show by sharing an anecdote with him and asking fans why the singer should come to Offenburg on November 25th.

Timberlake, who just released a new song with his former boy band *NSYNC after a 20-year hiatus, has appeared on the show four times in 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2013.

Samuel Koch is also scheduled

There is also talk of a “special reunion”: The German actor and author Samuel Koch will be in front of the camera together with Gottschalk, as “Merkur” reports. In a “Wetten, dass ..?” program in 2010, Koch suffered an accident and has been paralyzed ever since – a little later, Gottschalk announced his (second) retirement from the show.

Gottschalk about Michelle Hunziker: By no means the “supervising night nurse”

Who won’t be there: co-host Michelle Hunziker. He writes about this in a statement on Instagram: “Before ‘celebrity experts’ think about what my relationship with Michelle Hunziker looks like: One or the other will see it in my last issue of ‘Wetten, dass..?’ and perhaps forget that I was the one who brought her onto the show back then, and that the ZDF didn’t put her at my side as a ‘supervising night nurse’ because I didn’t know what was going on anymore.”

Gottschalk explained more about this in a long statement on Instagram:
