The men of Today Inside have had another turbulent week. After Johan Derksen called his TV colleague Eva Jinek an uncollegial slut on Thursday, she was on the talk show of colleague Beau van Erven Dorens the following evening. There Thom Hoffman jumped into the breach for her. He is disgusted by VI’s men.

Thom under fire

Although Thom says he never watches VI, he does want the program to go off the air. “I think it really needs to be said from above… Shouldn’t it be gradually said: ‘Stop that nonsense!’ With that yelling, that accusing, that yelling, those rude words.”

What?! Is Thom talking about decency here? Fellow actor Ramon Hopman can’t believe his ears. According to him, Thom is the last person allowed to talk about good manners.

Throwing props

Ramon flips out about Thom’s behavior on the movie set. “Thom Hoffman talks about decency! A long time ago I played a guest role in De Co-assistant in which he had a leading role. It was Mr. Hoffman yelling on set and throwing props.” tweets he.

According to Ramon it is therefore laughable that Thom at the table at Beau’s house throws himself out about the ‘indecency’ of Today Inside. “I really think this performance is ‘for the stage’.”

VI fans angry

The VI fans are also annoyed by Thom, who is known for, among other things, the SBS 6 series Dokter Tinus. “Moral knight, stick to your craft and don’t interfere with VI. You’re just saying this to get yourself back in the spotlight. I’m disappointed with you,” says Agnes, for example.

Anneke finds Thom very judgmental. “To draw such a conclusion about something you haven’t seen is biased and actually a bit stupid.”

no family

Some people on social media also think that Thom Hoffman is Tim Hofman’s father, but that is not true. Their surnames sound the same phonetically, but you spell it differently.
