Italian restaurant Happy Italy on Stadhuisplein is permanently closed due to disappointing turnover. Almost a new tenant has been found for the soon to be vacant building.

Both the Happy Italy building and the adjacent building of the former museum De Voorde are empty. The plan is for the new tenant to move into both buildings.

The plans are not final yet, but the intention is that the National Videogame Museum will move to Stadhuisplein. We still have to be patient, because the move is planned for autumn 2025, we read in it Premium item from AD Zoetermeer.

This is because the two buildings must first be cleared and renovated. The museum also plans to open a restaurant and an outdoor terrace.

ABN AMRO building

On Thursday, August 31, the National Video Game Museum has to leave their temporary rental property: the former V&D building in the Passage. The rental contract will then expire. Then they move to the next temporary accommodation, namely to the former ABN AMRO building on the Luxemburglaan.
