On the early morning of Easter Sunday, April 17, two young people died in an accident in Havelte. Just after 05:00 in the morning, the car in which they are sitting ends up in the ditch. Three others, including the driver, were also injured. In November it was announced that the driver is being prosecuted, he was under the influence and drove too fast.
