1. FC Union is in crisis. Now the portal “transfermarkt.de” has published the latest market values. Result: The market value of the Union professionals is a total of 189.65 million euros, which has fallen by almost three million euros.
Interesting: The biggest market value loser in the Bundesliga is an Iron Player!
The market value of Brenden Aaronson (22) fell from 25 million euros in the summer to currently 18 million euros. That’s a loss of seven million euros. No player in the Bundesliga has lost more value. Why? The loan from Premier League relegated Leeds has so far not progressed beyond a few good approaches. The offensive man still has to prove a lasting Bundesliga level.
Numerous Bundesliga players have to accept a loss of five million euros, such as Bayern defender Matthijs de Ligt (24) or four BVB professionals: Karim Adeyemi (21), Niklas Süle (28), Sebastien Haller (29) and Giovanni Reyna (20) – a colleague of Aaronson’s on the US team.
Other losers at Union are midfielder Lucas Tousart (26) with a loss of 200,000 euros (to 700,000). And striker Kevin Volland (31) also lost 200,000 euros (to 600,000). Andras Schäfer (24) lost 100,000 euros (now 400,000). However, the Hungarian is injured and, after three metatarsal fractures, is fighting more for his career than for increases in market value.
However, there are also some winners in Köpenick. Above all, Kevin Behrens (32). The new national player, who made his debut in the draw against Mexico (2-2) on Wednesday morning, has doubled his value from two million euros to four million. Also top: Aissa Laidouni (26) and new signing Alex Kral (25/Schalke), who each increased by three million euros and are now at exactly ten million euros.
