The video lasts one hour, 46 minutes, 54 seconds. During the interrogation, the man hears for the first time that the police believe he killed his sister. He stays calm and smiles faintly.
Day 27 in the murder trial of Yousuf Sayed (27) and Mahdi Seyed H. (23) from Afghanistan. On July 13, 2021, her sister Maryam (34, two children) disappeared.
On videos from the Südkreuz train station, the brothers are dragging a trolley suitcase to the train towards Munich that day. Maryam’s body is later dug up in Bavaria. Maryam’s alleged killers remain silent at trial.
Mahdi H. was interrogated on August 3, 2021. There has been no sign of life from his sister for 20 days. Your children are beside themselves, fearing the worst. Both uncles are said to have tried to keep the police out.
The surveillance video from Südkreuz station was like winning the lottery for the investigators. Exciting question: What was in the suitcase?
Maryam’s brother Mahdi sits in front of them: shirt sleeves, open collar, hands relaxed in his lap. He hears that he is now the suspect. That doesn’t pull him off his stool indignantly, he just lowers his eyes. Does he want a lawyer? He doesn’t want to.

Two days later, Maryam’s body is found in Bavaria. The duct tape that wraps it around has a piece of a disposable glove stuck to it, with DNA from Mahdi… Verdict October 10th.
