Festival visitors have been speculating for a long time, but now it is clear who will play the last slot on Sunday on the main stage. The organizers of the Hurricane Festival have announced the Secret Act.
The British singer-songwriter Tom Odell will appear on the Forest Stage on Sunday (June 22nd) from 3:45 p.m. This means that the program of the festival, which takes place from June 20th to 22nd at the oak ring in Scheeßel.
Secret Act at Hurricane
The Secret Acts also caused excitement at Rock am Ring and Rock in the Park. The surprise was great at the Nürburgring when Electric Callboy opened the festival. The subsequent surprise act was Roy Bianco & the Abbrunzati Boys, who did not get well with every rock fan.
At Hurricane, too, the rumors about the Secret Act on social media circulated. With Tom Odell, visitors can expect an internationally celebrated artist who recently performed as a support act for Billie Eilish in Germany.

Odell became known in 2012 with his EP “Songs from Another Love”. A year later he won the renowned critics’ Choice Award of the Brit Awards. The award helped him international success. His song “Another Love” developed into a global hit, sold over ten million times and stormed the charts across Europe – also in Germany, where the song received additional attention from an advertising campaign.
It is not the first visit to Scheeßel for Odell: he was already on the Hurricane stage in 2024. He will also perform at the sister festival Southside this year – but on Friday at 4:45 p.m. on the Green Stage.
If you don’t make it to the festival, you can also follow the Hurricane Festival via live stream as usual. All three festival days are transferred. The moderators: Inside Kessy Schygulla and Markus Kavka accompany the event. In addition to the transfer to MagentaTV and #dabeitV, the festival is also streamed on magenta music, Tiktok and Facebook – free of charge and without subscription.
