Some star Olivia Dunne has revealed how she landed the legendary Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue at just 20 years old.

Fox News According to Sports Illustrated, Dunne got excited about the cheeky Instagram photo he published last November, with which he rebelled against the New York Times.

You can see the picture that was in Instagram stories from this link.

Dunne posted that shot because he wanted to poke fun at the New York Times who had written about him quite a questionable article.

The article reported on a “disturbing” trend rearing its head in American college sports. Students can now earn money in their own name, which was not possible before. The New York Times summed up the consequences of the reform in two words: “sex sells”.

Strange reporter

Dunne tells Fox News that when he gave the New York Times interview, he didn’t know from what point of view the story was being written. However, he noticed that the interview had a rather unpleasant tone.

– The reporter asked me some really strangely worded questions. For example: “How does it feel to be a petite, blonde gymnast who makes good money under her own name?” I wondered why does it matter that I’m petite and blonde? Dunne recalled.

The gymnast was asked to pose in her competition outfit for photos. The end result was not what Dunne expected.

– When the article was published, there was a giant picture of me in my competition outfit and the title was “Sex sells”. So they came to my gym, asked me to wear the official competition outfit and then put a title like that on the story.

– The rules determine how we have to dress in the games. And then the New York Times says in an article that what I’m doing is a detriment to women’s gymnastics.
