Vartiainen has been living with his spouse in New York for the past few years. During that time, the couple had two children and Vartiainen took a break from his music career.
The singer describes in the HS article that she spent an ordinary family life in New York. It was not originally planned to return to Finland this summer, but things turned out differently.
Vartiainen says that he wanted to share his family life with relatives living in Finland. In Finland, he was also able to continue working.
