This is where the Remmos walk to freedom

By Karl Germ

They are convicted criminals, but thanks to a deal with the prosecutor’s office, several members of the criminal Remmo clan are free.

They were granted an exemption from prison, which means they are allowed to move about freely until a possible prison sentence begins.

At 11.58 a.m. the time had come: The first Remmo gangster was free again. Mohamed Remmo (24) leaves the high-security courtroom on Dresden’s Hammerweg wearing a white FFP2 mask. Mohamed gets into the car of his Dresden lawyer Dr. Ines Killian. Both rush away in the BMW Coupé.

Bashir (27) and Rabieh Remmo (29) followed four minutes later. In the hallway they were still talking to their lawyers and judicial staff. In order not to be recognized, they held cardboard boxes in front of their faces. Rabieh Remmo wore a blue shirt from the “Dodgers” – a baseball team from Los Angeles (USA).

Bashir Remmo, who lost weight while in prison, wore a white T-shirt with a black hooded jacket. They got into a gray VW Amarok and let themselves be driven away sitting in the back seat.

At the same time, a police helicopter from the Saxony police turned over the court. Hundreds of people and the Evidence Preservation and Arrest Unit (BFE) secured the exit, other officials other access roads. One by one the lawyers drove out in their cars.

At 12:51 p.m., a blue light convoy from the police left the premises. Wissam (26) and Abdul Majed Remmo (24), who did not get a break from prison, were probably sitting in it.

Even before the release, a high-powered black VW Golf R (320 hp) with Remmo’s initials drove up and down in front of the court. One of the inmates, presumably assigned to the Remmo clan, insulted the journalists as “you pigs”.

A few seconds later the blue light of a police car went on – control! The driver and a passenger got out and talked to the police officers. The reason for the inspection is not known.

After that, the Golf occupants continued to do their rounds. They picked up Rabieh Remmo, who took the passenger seat. It probably went straight to Berlin…
