Five Bundesliga games are still to come this season. After that, Erling Haaland will probably no longer play for BVB. He wants to go to Manchester City. But the deal isn’t fixed for one reason.
According to information from “Bild”, Borussia Dortmund’s striker Erling Haaland will switch to English soccer champions Manchester City after the end of the Bundesliga season. Coach Pep Guardiola wants to set new stimuli in the squad and is therefore planning with the 21-year-old Norwegian. He really wanted to have it, it was said recently (Read more about it here).
However, there is still a catch why the transfer has not yet been bagged: Haaland’s advisor Mino Raiola and his father Alf-Inge Haaland would have to significantly reduce their financial demands. Accordingly, the Premier League club does not want to pay the 40 million euro consultant commission for Raiola and the 30 million euro agency commission for Haaland’s father Alf-Inge.

If there is an agreement here, the change should be announced promptly. Man City are currently leaders in the Premier League. The club is in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The Norwegian international can leave BVB after this season thanks to a €75m release clause. Haaland has been associated with various top clubs for months. Real Madrid are also said to be interested. According to the American TV broadcaster ESPN, he has now canceled Manchester United. Haaland’s contract in Dortmund actually runs until the summer of 2024.
