Although the seriousness of the invasion by all the censorship does not seep into the consciousness of many Russian citizens, the war in Ukraine does not leave them completely untouched. More than 8,000 Russians have been arrested for protesting it since the war started last Thursday. Financially, residents are going backwards. And if the dreaded martial law comes, citizens will lose even more freedoms.
