One of the biggest Finnish festivals of the summer started on Friday in Turku’s Ruissalo, when Ruisrock opened its gates to the festival crowd.
This year’s Ruisrock is starred by a wide range of both domestic and foreign hit names. On Friday, Finland’s latest Eurovision representative took to the stage of the three-day festival Wrapperthe great promise of the domestic rap field Ibe as well as one of the top Finnish-indie names Lottery.
Unstable weather did not hinder the atmosphere, as Käärijä, who had already performed in the afternoon, drew a wild crowd in front of Niittylava.
