Although Lindholm was born in the neighboring town of Pomarku, Pori, he has always called himself a Pomarkkulan. Markus Myllymäki, who was behind the sculpture project, told Aamulehte, which was the first to report on the statue, that the statue is located in Pomarku, just a hundred meters from “Lindholm’s Pomarkun home”.
Lindholm was laid to rest in the Pomarkku family cemetery in March 2019.
Lindholm died unexpectedly of a ruptured aorta in February 2019. He was 54 years old when he died.
