Esko Eerikäinen says that he has sometimes thought about how his publicity has affected Victoria.
Radio host Esko Eerikäinen50, daughter Victoria13, is currently attending middle school in Helsinki, where he is used to having public figures among his parents.
However, Victoria has faced the dark side of being a celebrity child during her life. He opens up to Anna about what it was like to grow up as a child of a celebrity.
– Sometimes it has felt like someone is trying to be a friend or approaches only because they want to somehow benefit from the acquaintance. But it has been quite rare, he tells the magazine.
In an interview, Esko recalls how Victoria’s male friends were excited when they got to hear this mother, Martina Aitolehten, having once competed on TV as a gladiator. Victoria, on the other hand, says how cool her friends were when Esko was acting Secret lives in the series.

Esko admits that he sometimes thought about the effects of his publicity on Victoria.
– Of course, you think about how the publicity affects the child and hope that there would be no regrets at least. You just can’t do anything for your own work. However, work has to be done, he states.
However, according to Esko, her publicity did not play such a big role when Victoria attended a Spanish-speaking kindergarten and elementary school.
– They were all more interested in which Latin American country they were from than the public, he says.
The two told Iltalehti in November 2022 that there is an open dialogue between them. Esko revealed that he dares to talk about his love affairs to his daughter as well.
– We discuss the reasons or what kind of girlfriend would suit me. The same also applies to Vike, when the boys become interested. I love that we can have these conversations.
