Fleshgod Apocalypse singer Veronica Bordachhini got engaged during her band’s performance in Madrid. During a break, her boyfriend Alessandro Salari surprised her on stage with a marriage proposal. The group later shared a video on Instagram showing the situation. Bordacchini was visibly touched and of course accepted the proposal. Her fiancé is himself a member of the folk band Carro Bestiamo.
The trained opera singer has only been an official member of the band since 2020. Since 2011, however, she has been involved in recordings and as a live musician. Before that she was part of the formations In Tenebra and Wisteria.
Fleshgod Apoclypse are currently on a European tour in preparation for the French “Motocultur” festival. They are supported by the Finnish band Omnium Gatherium. From February 18th they will be on tour in North America.
