The song that Gers Pardoel wrote for his new girlfriend Ann-Sophie is called ‘I don’t take you for granted’. The rapper previously had a long relationship with his childhood sweetheart Selina van Gool. He has two children with her, Goud and Rocci. However, that relationship did not end well.

Patty Brard listens to Gers’ new song with mixed feelings. “What I do find a bit painful about that title and that love song is that of course he has a past in the field of love that does not really deserve the beauty prize,” she says at the desk of Shownieuws.
She continued: “Selina, his ex and the mother of their two children, has charged him with trespassing, harassment and violence and threats. Then it might be a bit painful if you now sing to your new young love, who also does your management like the previous love did: ‘I don’t take you for granted.’”
