This is the winner of Maestro | TV

After his win, he gave one more encore and the rapper took home the golden baton. Sor also defeated Plien van Bennekom, Eva Cleven, Pieter Jan Hagens, Bram Krikke and Henk Spaan this season.

Earlier, Sor and Kleinsma said to it AP that they give each other enormous profits. “I remember the production asking me the other day if I could tell the camera how I was going to beat you. That we are really at odds with each other. But I didn’t think that was the goal at all,” Sor said at the time. Simone laughs: “I had to do that too, but I didn’t really like having to say that.”

Sor is “genuinely happy inside” having won the sixth season of Maestro. “To properly describe how I feel: oh my god,” he says with a smile from ear to ear. The rapper is thrilled that he has won. “I am completely flabbergasted.” He didn’t see it coming that he would win. “In the final, Simone and I went neck-and-neck. I’m not on TV as much as she is and a lot of people don’t know me yet, so I actually thought she would get the most votes.” Yet the vast majority of the public voted for him. “I have no idea why, apparently I liked it.”

Deaf

For Sor, participating in the program was an extra challenge, after he became deaf two years ago. Now he has tools to help him hear better. “I try not to see it as a handicap, otherwise I will become one. Maestro took a lot of getting used to in the beginning: so much sound came at me at once with high frequencies. I can no longer hear which direction a sound is coming from, so I wear glasses on the trestle to see the instruments better.”

In the future, the rapper certainly plans to continue with classical music. ”100 percent sure,” he assures. “I already have a lot of plans, but unfortunately I can’t say anything about them yet.”
