At the end of September, Bruce Springsteen announced that he was recovering from a stomach ulcer and that all planned concerts for 2023 would therefore be canceled. Now E-Street Band member Steven Van Zandt explained what the rock singer’s health is currently like.
After a fan sent his “best wishes” to Springsteen via “He’s doing much better, thanks Jo,” Van Zandt wrote
The 74-year-old was diagnosed with the disease in August. In an announcement on September 27, Springsteen made it clear through a social media post that he will undergo treatment through the end of the year and will have to postpone his upcoming shows until next year.
“Thank you to all my friends and fans for the good wishes, encouragement and support. “I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year,” the singer said. to his audience
If treatment goes according to plan, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to touring in March 2024 with a concert in Phoenix, Arizona.
