Finding the password for a wireless network can sometimes seem like a chore, but fortunately there are also smarter ways to share the password.

Often, guests may ask for access to the wireless network, especially if the house is located in a mobile data coverage area or the house otherwise has poor reception. Wireless network connection is also known as wifi.
It may be that the guest is in a night village and needs internet for his/her computer. In this case, the internet password must be dug out from under the router, which can sometimes seem difficult.

Windows
The Windows method for finding the password is perhaps the most complicated, and the exact instructions vary depending on the operating system. The following instructions outline how to retrieve a password in the latest Windows operating systems:
Go to “network&internet” in the computer settings. Select the “mode” tab in the network settings, and scrolling down the tab, you should find the network and sharing center.
From the sharing center, click on your wifi connection. Next, select “wireless properties”. After this, on the security tab, you should find the “show characters” check box, by clicking on which your password should become visible. To use the selection box, you need the credentials of the system administrator.

Apple devices
Sharing a password between Apple devices is very easy. In this case, of course, your friend’s contact information must be saved on your device, and vice versa. In addition, operating systems must be updated to the latest versions.
If the previous things are in order, password sharing should be easy as follows:
Turn on the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections of both devices. The devices must also be unlocked and close to each other.
After that, you have to connect to the shared wifi network, after which your friend has to connect their device to the same network.
A pop-up window should appear on your device asking if you want to share your password.
Accept the password sharing, after which your friend’s device should also be connected.
Android devices
On Android devices, password sharing is possible with a QR code. However, this is possible with Android 10 or older operating systems. You can find the QR code needed for sharing as follows:
Make sure your device is connected to a shared wifi network. Go to settings, from which you select network settings, from which you select Wifi settings.
Click on the gear icon next to your wifi network. After that, select the “share” button. After this, the QR code will appear on your screen.
Let your guests scan the QR code with their device’s camera. Sharing should also be easy for an iPhone device.
If your friend has an Android phone, he needs to go to the wifi menu through the settings. Next, he needs to click on the QR code icon next to the “add network” button. After this, a scanning screen will appear on the phone, and after scanning the code, the device should be online.
