Newcomer Diogo Leite (23/FC Porto) trained individually on Saturday and Sunday. The central defender was loaned out for around 500,000 euros for a year.
But: The Portuguese cannot help immediately because he has a training deficit. Reason? Manager Oliver Ruhnert (50): “He’s at a different level of preparation. He has trained individually so far.”
It could be tight before the start of the season. But Union builds up leader left foot. Ruhnert: “He can play in a back four or three on the left and in the centre.”
