American TV legend Oprah Winfrey celebrated his 70th birthday on Monday. Although one might think the day is worth celebrating, Winfrey decided not to celebrate “in a big way”. He opened his decision On Oprah Daily.
Among other things, he writes that he felt how all his friends pressured him to do something big and special.
– I thought about everything, took into account all their suggestions and finally did what one of my friends recommended.
Winfrey now says that she went through old diaries, photos, memory boxes, savored, tasted and wondered about moments of joy and sadness from the past 70 years. In addition, he posted a video on Instagram of how he celebrates his 70th birthday by running on the sandy beach.

“What I celebrate this birthday is knowing that the person I know myself to be has mattered,” Winfrey wrote.
– At my age, you can recognize the strangeness of the passage of time. 70 resonates and tells you for sure that there are not as many years left as have already been spent. I take great satisfaction in the fact that no matter how many sunrises are left – each sunrise has been worth it.
Oprah Winfrey is a well-known television personality, entrepreneur and producer. The popular talk show hosted by Winfrey The Oprah Winfrey Show the first episode aired in 1986 and the program ran until 2011.
