Winter blew through Berlin and Brandenburg once again at the weekend with snow and ice. But what’s next?
In terms of meteorology, spring starts on Wednesday (March 1), but the prospects are currently still wintry – especially at night.
The week starts frosty and with local ice in Berlin and Brandenburg. During the MondayIt will be mostly cloudy and changeable, as the German Weather Service announced on Monday. In addition to sunny sections, especially in the north, there can be short snow showers and ice in Lower Lusatia. The maximum temperatures are between three and six degrees.
In the night to Tuesday it will remain dry and slightly cloudy. In some places flat fields of fog form. The temperatures drop to minus three to minus six degrees. It can get smooth. A sunny winter day is expected on Tuesday, with temperatures of four to six degrees and a weak easterly wind.
The night to Wednesday will be very cold again, with lows between minus four and minus seven degrees. With the exception of a few clouds, the night will be clear and dry. On Wednesday it will be friendly again, partly cloudy in the evening. The maximum temperatures are up to seven degrees.
