Tina Turner (1939-2023)
Tina Turner is dead. The legendary musician died on May 24, 2023 at the age of 83 in her adopted home of Switzerland. Turner’s official cause of death is not yet known. However, the musician had repeatedly made headlines with bad health news. In 2013, the musician suffered a stroke. In 2016 it was announced that she had been diagnosed with colon cancer. The following year, Turner underwent a kidney transplant — her husband Erwin Bach donated a kidney to her. At that time it was said that she could beat cancer. Turner spoke openly about her illnesses at the time, including in her book “Tina Turner — My Love Story.” A few years ago, there was speculation about cancer coming back, but this has not been confirmed.
