Caution: The following article contains Spoiler for the first episode of “The Book of Boba Fett”.
In the first episode of the new “Star Wars” show “The Book of Boba Fett” after 38 years, fans finally learn how Boba Fett in “Star Wars: Episode VI-The Return of the Jedi Knight” could escape from the throat of a Sarlacc. Countless fan theories later is a moment that was already eagerly awaited.
In the scene in question is Boba Fett, played by Temuera Morrison, in the stomach of a sarlacc. These are up to a hundred meters long omnivores who live in holes in the earth. They keep their prey karting in their stomach in order to feed on them as long as possible-which C3-PO in the “Return of the Jedi Knights” already ceremoniously announced and threatened to exceed our imagination with these words. Inside the sarlacc, surrounded by darkness and sticky gastric mucosa, the situation for Boba Fett initially appears hopeless.
Boba Fett’s rescue: a dead storm trooper
After a while, however, the bounty hunter discovers a dead storm trooper near him. Cleverly as he is, Boba Fett, with the help of its oxygen hose, manages to enlarge its torch blower. The bounty hunter burns a hole in the sarlacc and can then shuffle through the sand. In the background, the remains of the exploded barke Jabbas and the Sarlacc itself, to which the hustle and bustle seemed to be irrelevant – his tentacles are limp in the sand.
