“We won’t let that fool us,” said Real coach Carlo Ancelotti, referring to Hessen’s 6-1 loss to Bayern Munich. On Wednesday (9:00 p.m. / RTL and DAZN) the royal team will meet Europa League winners Frankfurt in Helsinki.
Instead, the former Bayern coach drew attention to Eintracht’s last season in the Europa League, “in which they beat some very good teams”.
Frankfurt have a “dynamic team with a lot of intensity,” said Ancelotti. But at Real you can still feel the joy of the triumph in the premier class. “We want this moment to go a little further,” said the Italian.
