Every year, Hopper HQ magazine publishes the Instagram Rich List, which describes how much certain influencers earn from a promotional post on Instagram. There are lists for stars from specific industries such as fitness or lifestyle, but also a cross-industry list. According to its own information, the magazine compiles the data based on internally exclusive and publicly available information about the influencers. This ranking presents the 15 influencers across all industries who, according to the Instagram Rich List 2022, can earn the most money with a post. The data comes predominantly from the Rich List. Information about the post content and the date the account was created on Instagram comes from the platform itself. The data is current as of August 2023.

15th place: Nicki Minaj

The American rapper Nicki Minaj opens the ranking. She regularly posts memes and pictures of herself or her child on Instagram, but there are also promotional posts. With the latter, she was able to earn up to $1.34 million per post in 2023. The number of followers of “nickiminaj” is around 223.84 million.

14th place: Virat Kohli

An unknown name for many – the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is in 14th place in the ranking. The New Delhi-born athlete had around 223.84 million followers in 2023 and earned up to around $1.34 million per advertisement.

13th place: Jennifer Lopez

Singer Jennifer Lopez (jlo), who has been active on Instagram since 2013, is also classified as a celebrity by Hopper HQ. In 2023, she impressed around 249.44 million followers with her pictures of herself and her family. According to Rich List 2023, “jlo” earns up to $1.49 million per promotional post.

12th place: Taylor Swift

Celebrity Taylor Swift, “taylorswift,” takes twelfth place in this ranking. The singer, who has been active on Instagram since 2011, earned up to $1.61 million per advertising post in 2023, with the American, in addition to this source of income, mainly sharing pictures of herself with her approximately 268.39 million followers.

11th place: Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner has been on Instagram since mid-2011. In 2023, she was able to convince around 292.97 million followers with personal posts from her life. “Kendalljenner” earned slightly less than her sisters last year, earning up to $1.75 million per advertising post.

10th place: Justin Bieber

Canadian-born singer Justin Bieber had around 293.73 million followers in 2023, and he delighted them with photos of himself both in public and in private. “Justinbieber” was able to earn up to around $1.76 million per advertising post.

With Khloe Kardashian, another member of the Kardashian dynasty is in the top 10 of the ranking. According to the Rich List, she convinced around 310.87 million followers with her posts under the user name “khloekardashian”. The American earns $1.86 million from an advertising post.

8th place: Beyoncé Knowles

The American singer Beyoncé has been on Instagram since the end of 2012 and posts pictures of herself in a variety of situations and places. She takes eighth place in this ranking and was able to convince around 314.81 million followers in 2023. “Beyonce” earned up to $1.88 million per promotional post.

Fifth place goes to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. “therock” convinced around 387.64 million followers in 2023 with the advertising posts that he mixes with uploads from his everyday life. The actor was able to earn up to $2,326,000 per post.

4th place: Kylie Jenner

Fourth place goes to Kylie Jenner from the Kardashian dynasty. The profits “kyliejenner” made on Instagram per post were up to $2,326,000 as of August 2023. She had around 397.62 million followers.

Selena Gomez made it into the top three. The celebrity, who works as an actress, singer and model, goes by “selenagomez” on Instagram and had around 426.3 million followers in 2023. She could earn up to $2,558,000 from one promotional post.

The exceptional Argentine talent Lionel Messi – “leomessi” on Instagram – is also represented in the Rich List like his eternal competitor Cristiano Ronaldo – but one place behind his rival. The athlete had around 479.26 million followers in 2023 and he could earn up to $2,597,000 from a single promotional post.

Portuguese football god Cristiano Ronaldo regularly posts pictures of himself and his family. But there are also advertising posts from the star – each one of which earned him an incredible $3,234,000 in 2023. “cristiano” has around 596.8 million followers and is number one on the Rich List.
