Listeners wanted to know about the couple, among other things, whether the couple has their own or shared money. Mikael reveals that they have no money together.

– Sadly, Metti laughs in the episode in English.

After joking, the couple gets serious and says that they have always had a healthy attitude towards money.

– Our dynamics are related to that. When we met, I was late in my career and had made my fortune, and you were a student. We were extreme, says Mikael.

– But I think it’s great that we’ve been able to talk about money from the beginning. It is not a given – especially if the couple is at completely different income levels. With money, you can also drive someone to a really unpleasant place, and use it as a position of power, Metti reflects.

Mikael also praises Matt for having tried to divide the couple’s joint costs equally.

– You have always had the ability to take responsibility as soon as you can. Let’s share costs and stuff. Especially in a family with children, there are a lot of costs, says Mikael.

However, Metti says that he encountered prejudices, according to which Mikael would buy him expensive gifts. Now he downloads the direct words about this prejudice.

– That is not our situation. I buy my own stuff and for my family, Metti emphasizes.

The couple got married in 2015, and their family includes a child born in 2014 Lilianborn in 2016 Lucas and born in 2022 Ellen.
