Käärijä, who came second in Eurovision and charmed about half of Europe, received four Emma nominations from the domestic music industry. The wrapper hopes that he doesn’t have to leave the Emma gala in February empty-handed.

According to the rules of the Emma gala, the candidate must have three songs published during the past calendar year. There are just three songs released on Käärijä, i.e Cha Cha Cha, Hahahahaha and It’s Crazy It’s Party. According to the wrapper, this is no accident.
– We wanted to play smart, this year is the time to strike. However, we didn’t want to rush and just put “something” in the yard. But yes, it (the Emma nominations) was in the back of my mind.
So the wrapper won the New Music Competition, came second in Eurovision and got an invitation to Linna’s party.
– Maybe such a wow moment came in a certain way in the summer, when the gigs started. That’s when I got the feeling that we’re going now, and the pace was fast. That’s when I realized that now there are seams for everything.

The wrapper has been asked for a selfie thousands and thousands of times during the year. According to his memory, he has only asked one person for a group photo, and this happened at the Linna’s party.
– You probably know who it was taken with, that is Jari from Saarion. I got quite a few selfie requests in the Linna, maybe not a thousand, but in that corner. But Jari was the only one I asked for a group photo.
The celebration of Käärijä’s independence day continued after the Linna at the Kämp hotel.
– We had a nice group there. The celebration was peaceful. In the morning I politely went to bed alone.
Liver box for the Christmas table
