This is how Mané reacts to the Lewandowski theatre

With Sadio Mané, FC Bayern have a new top star for the offensive in their own ranks. It is not yet clear who the Senegalese will go in attack with in the future. After all, Robert Lewandowski is still aiming for a departure. The Munich signing does not want to get involved in the exchange theater around the world footballer.

“Clearly, Robert Lewandowski is one of the best strikers in the world,” said Mané in an interview with “Sport Bild”: “But I’m not the right person to talk about his future or to say what the club is doing now target.”

Lewandowski wants to leave FC Bayern for FC Barcelona. The German record champions have so far prohibited a transfer and instead refer to the contract that runs until 2023. Still, Barca aren’t giving up and are reportedly even preparing the next offer for Lewandowski.

Mané is looking forward to his teammates at FC Bayern

While Mané played with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino at Liverpool FC, the 30-year-old meets players like Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman at FC Bayern. When asked which offensive was the better one, Mané also chose a diplomatic answer.

“They are all top players with high quality,” said the goalscorer. He has “a lot of respect” for everyone. “It’s going to be a great new experience for me at Bayern and I’m sure it will be much easier to start because my team-mates are all great,” said Mané.

Mané spoke to Thiago about his plans

Before moving to the German record champions, the veteran exchanged ideas with ex-Munich Thiago in Liverpool.

“He said that FC Bayern is a great club, everyone there is very friendly and Munich is a beautiful city,” revealed Mané: “That immediately gave me a good feeling.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp was disappointed with the decision to transfer to Bayern. “The coach wanted me to stay and was sad,” said Mané: “But my decision was made very quickly.”
