Rock musician Kimmo Blom died of cancer at only 52 years old. The musician’s partner Annica Milán confirmed the matter to Iltalehti.

Blom’s sudden passing has shocked and touched many. The singer and composer, known for his heavy Christmas and Queen tribute performances, is being remembered touchingly on social media.

The metal band Leverage has written a eulogy for Blom, who sang on the band’s last year’s release Above the Beyond on the album.

– Friends. Our dear brother Kimmo has passed away today. It’s hard to write anything here, because the sad news hit so hard. Rest in peace Kimmo. We still rock together, Leverage’s Instagram account says in English.
