Big trouble about the new Hertha jerseys! Because they are no longer available in size 3XL.
Nenad Lucic (47) has been with Hertha BSC since 1979 and has had a tattoo of the Hertha coat of arms with the words ‘Blau-weiß forever’ on his skin (calf) for 15 years. But in his second skin, the Hertha jersey, he no longer feels comfortable…
The actor is annoyed – like many other users in the social networks (especially on Facebook) – that the new Hertha jersey in the fan shop is suddenly only available up to size 2XL (the predecessor jersey was also available at Hertha last season in 3XL) is available.
Lucic (172 cm, 110 kg) reports to the BZ: “I’m angry, I feel excluded as a fat person. It bothers me that Hertha jerseys are not available in 3XL. I just about fit in 2XL, but it’s tight and uncomfortable. And in winter I couldn’t wear it over any other piece of clothing either, so it’s useless.”
The Hertha supporter complains: “Does anyone think of us people who are a bit fuller? Hertha is super diverse, but don’t think of us fat people who also want a jersey and don’t get one because they don’t fit. And there are definitely still many people and Hertha fans out there who are a bit broader than me.”
That’s why Lucic is fighting for larger jerseys, went to Hertha’s office on Tuesday and complained about the missing 3XL jerseys.
He says to the BZ: “But then I was told that Hertha had nothing to do with it and that I would have to complain to the manufacturer Nike…”
When asked by BZ, Hertha confirmed that the club itself would have tried to have 3XL jerseys delivered again, like last season, but Nike no longer planned this size for this season.

But why is it like that? Jersey manufacturer Nike was not able to answer the phone on Wednesday morning, a written BZ request was requested, which has so far remained unanswered.
According to reports, the 3 XL jerseys will no longer be produced by the manufacturer for reasons of economy (insufficient demand).
