Ares is looking for an experienced boss who likes to play with him. Picking up and returning sticks and balls are one of his favorite games.

Ares, who looks like a boxer, was given up by his previous boss and was previously brought in as a foundling at Dierentehuis Zoetermeer. There they are looking for a new, sweet boss. Who knows, this is your new family friend!
Active and fun guy
The animal shelter estimates Ares’ age at eight years, but they are not sure. He is an active and sociable guy. He won’t let the cheese eat his bread and they don’t know if he can live with other dogs. Ares cannot be told everything by everyone, so they are looking for an experienced boss. A family with small children is probably not a good plan.
Good to know is that Ares has to slowly get used to being home alone. During walks, he leaves other animals alone except cats. As soon as a cat is around, he can start fixing. This means that the dog has uninterrupted staring eye contact at a stimulus. This can possibly be unlearned with the right approach.
Yes, I want to meet Ares
Are you interested in Ares? Then visit Dierentehuis Zoetermeer from Monday to Friday between 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm, or on Saturday from 11 am to 4.30 pm. Will you let us know if Ares managed to get a place at your home?
