On November 25th, Thomas Gottschalk will host “Wetten,dass..?” for the last time. The 73-year-old organized all sorts of celebrity support for the final show before saying goodbye to the stage. Among others, Shirin David and Helene Fischer have now announced a previously unknown duet of “Atemlos durch die Nacht”.
Musical acts and prominent couch guests
The farewell show will be broadcast live at 8:15 p.m. from the Baden Arena in Offenburg and has a lot more to offer besides the surprising pop rap duo. As a female solo musician, Cher will provide another musical highlight of the evening. There shouldn’t be a lack of man power either, which is why Take That will also play and sit down on Gottschalk’s couch for a chat.
The prominent betting sponsors from the last show are also impressive. The presenter welcomes Matthias Schweighöfer, Stefanie Stappenbeck, Jan Josef Liefers, Lena Mantler and Bastian Schweinsteiger to the studio together with his wife Ana Ivanović. Thomas Gottschalk himself announced all of his guests on his Instagram page.
Forklifts, skateboards and crow calls
There is also some information about the bets taking place. Michelle Chevalier and Antonia Fleig will integrate the forklift, which is often used in “Wetten,dass..?”, into their bet; Felix Mayr has chosen a slightly more compact means of transport with his skateboard. Julia Reichert will be talking about “stripes” and Horst Freckmann will stir up the group with crow calls. There will typically also be an outside bet, which will be moderated by comedienne Hazel Brugger.
Speaking of moderation, Thomas Gottschalk wants to master this alone in the final show, without Michelle Hunziker.
