Twelve new characters are ready to take over the stage when Masked Singer Finland’s fourth production season starts at the beginning of September.
As usual, the program is hosted by Ile Uusivuori.
– I would like to prepare for the episodes very well in advance, but it just doesn’t work out, there are always elements of surprise.
– But you have to remember that the more surprises and the sillier we look, the better. This is not the program where you can stay really cool, Uusivuori says.
He doesn’t even want to know the identity of the characters when he goes on stage.
– I’m not such a good actor that I could fake it, so I wouldn’t know. And if I knew, I would start to watch my words, says Uusivuori.
The biggest surprise for him so far has been Timo Jutilan revealing Mörö’s suit.
– I have been a fan of Jutila since 1995, and I met her for the first time literally inside the suit!
– I had to cut Mörö’s costume open during the character reveal. In a way, we were both inside that suit and I just looked, aha, Timo Jutila! It was a confusing moment.
Of course, it was also confusing when Pöllö’s outfit revealed his own wife, Marja Hintikka.
– A lot of effort had been put into it so that he didn’t reveal himself to me. I really didn’t know that Owl was him.
– After all, there were situations where we were the whole family in the sauna and Marja asked me to take the children away already. In fact, he stayed in the sauna to practice singing, Uusivuori recalls.
The man is thinking feverishly how to pay the potts in potts and surprise his wife in the same way.

In Uusivuuori’s opinion, the best thing ever would be if an ex-football player was revealed behind the mask Jari Litmanen.
– If he came from there, I probably wouldn’t be able to be on stage, I would burst into tears. King Litmanen means so much to me, Uusivuori thinks.
In the foursome of detectives, familiar ones from previous seasons will continue Maria VeitolaJenni Kokander, Janne Kataja and Christoffer Strandberg.
Their work is by no means getting any easier, even though many celebrities have already shed their disguises.
– We still can’t cross off the list that this or that beer is already on the program. We are constantly being harassed in every way. We already doubt each other and even that we ourselves are inside those characters! Veitola states.
– And because the program really gets your head messed up, I don’t even remember who all have been involved in previous seasons, he continues.
Part of the charm of the program comes from the shared energy of the four judges.
– We always stay together as a team. We fight through all the shame. Certain information often goes smoothly. The nature of the program is that it’s as if we’re playing a game together, Strandberg sums up.
