Many fans don’t like that at all… DAZN changed its background music during the live broadcast. To the displeasure of many viewers who let out their frustration on Twitter. Interesting: There is a specific reason for this change.

Especially in the Bundesliga game between Borussia Dortmund and Hertha BSC (4:1), many DAZN subscribers complained about the background music that was played at different times. For example, after Julian Brandt’s goal to make it 4-1 after a great assist from Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.

DAZN tweeted: “What a solo by Bynoe-Gittens”. Under this post there were numerous comments criticizing the new background music from DAZN. This is quite quiet and slow. One wrote: “Please turn this music off or away, delete it, tell your sound engineer or whoever tunes it to turn it off please” (24 likes).

Another added: “What a horrible noise. Please change the background music as soon as possible” (six likes). Another commented: “What an awful tune you guys have on breaks. Please change it very quickly” (ten likes).

One way or another, the comments in the social media collected. Another user wrote: “What kind of meditative singing bowl music does DAZN have in the background, what’s that supposed to mean, I want to watch football and not a Thai massage?” (225 likes).

To be fair, it has to be mentioned that there are critical voices with almost every background music. In this case, however, they accumulated extremely. However, some users found them good.

According to BILD information, the new music was introduced because the title song by Chinedu Ede and some other well-known German rappers premiered on Friday. The tones were previously regularly underlined in the series “Underground of Berlin”, which ended in May 2022 with the third season.

Underground of Berlin is a series that tells the story of the Berlin (Weddinger) boys Änis Ben-Hatira and Chinedu Ede, together with their friends Kevin-Prince Boateng, Ashkan Dejagah and Patrick Ebert.

Good news for all fans who were annoyed by the music: It is likely to be changed again in the upcoming broadcasts as it was only used for promotion this weekend.
