Nobody loves nature and hates forsythia as much as him: Robin K. (24) from Pankow! As “Robinga Schnögelrögel” he takes his 117,000 followers into his garden in funny Instagram videos and now even earns his money as a Plantfluencer (Plant + Influencer).
“I took over my parents’ garden three years ago. They had had the property for a long time and at some point they said, ‘Go for it,'” he says. Since then, Robin has been spending up to ten hours a day in his garden! “My environment labeled me a bit of a freak,” says the 24-year-old and laughs.
English lawn and freshly trimmed hedges – none! He even had to ban his grandmother from entering the house. “She’s having a semi-collapse here. “She always asks what the neighbors should say,” says the plant freak. Because the property is completely natural.
Not without reason: as many wild bees, butterflies and other insects as possible should find a home here. Several hundred already live here, and almost 200 plants grow in the garden.
Including plants that Robin absolutely dislikes – or even hates! “Forsythia. No nectar, no pollen. There are no ecological interconnections. Just an ostrich that wants to fool the wild bees and bees. “The little bag,” says Robin in his most successful video (1.5 million clicks).

For over a year, the 24-year-old has been recording his gardening tips with a Berlin snout, humorous and a little crazy in Instagram videos. His next goal: to open a nature reserve in Brandenburg at some point.
