“This arrogance from above is getting on my nerves.”

By Sven Kuschel

It’s not that quick and easy for YOU… Moderator Sophia Thomalla (34) follows up. Without a hand over his mouth and with clear statements and anger at “arrogance from above…”.

The background is the public discussion following an information event organized by the CDU and CSU a few days ago. Northern Irishwoman Shelby Lynn (24) was invited there. After a Rammstein concert in Vilnius (Lithuania), she claimed to have been given knockout drops at a meeting with singer Till Lindemann (60), among others. Lindemann had always denied the allegations and the investigation into them had been discontinued.

Thomalla, who had always defended her ex-boyfriend Lindemann against allegations of assault, criticized the Northern Irishwoman’s appearance AND the politicians who made it possible.

She herself wants to leave the CDU after twelve years: “Thanks to our politicians, this lady is now standing on an official stage in our political house and fighting for women.”

CDU woman Julia Klöckner (50) reacted: “You are warmly invited to work with us for better protection for women.”

But THAT didn’t regulate Sophia Thomalla’s level of outrage. On the contrary. She takes the former Agriculture Minister to task once again and writes in response to Klöckner’s statements: “I answered with political phrases and unfortunately gallantly avoided the facts that I listed.”

The successful TV woman then describes how she wanted to be involved in the topic herself: “On September 16th, I contacted Ms. Klöckner about the topic, told her I was leaving and received no response. Now that the pressure is on, she is reacting. So it’s not about the exchange at all, it’s just about the public presentation and quick applause.”

And Thomalla goes further with clear examples to point out grievances in various debates. She states provocatively.

Thomalla’s provocative theses

▶︎ “If I question the Metoo debate, which in my opinion has gotten completely out of hand, I am anti-feminist or misogynist.”

▶︎ “If I questioned some incomprehensible measures at the end of the Corona period, I was a Corona denier or an aluminum hat wearer.”

▶︎“If I have normal questions about the over-discussion of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m homophobic.”

▶︎ “If I’m slightly worried about this country’s immigration policy, I’m racist.”

▶︎ “And if you ask politicians how you can financially manage to build a new heating system and also buy an electric car, then I am a climate denier.”

Conclusion: Without the same opinion as the “intellectual critics” you will be labeled as stupid and not enlightened enough.

Thomalla finds clear words about this. Even if this may not be the end of the discussion: “This arrogance from above really annoys me, and I believe the majority in general, too.”
